ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Position: Associate Pastor
Level: Staff Leadership Team
Employment: Full Time


We are excited to announce an opening for a Full-Time Associate Pastor to join our ministry team! The ideal candidate will be a dedicated servant-leader, with a visible passion for Jesus, a heart for His church, and a gift of organizational leadership. We’re looking for someone who can jump into our rapidly changing ministry and lead with creativity and care as they: help to create and grow discipleship structures of the ministry, assist in daily operations of the church, and help lead the way in fostering a sense of unity and community that helps to drive the mission forward!

Requirements: 
  • Ordained or eligible for ordination within the Free Methodist Church
  • Strong commitment to biblical teachings and theology of the Free Methodist Church
  • Excellent communication skills, both in preaching and interpersonal interactions
  • Ability to adapt to meet the demands of a growing ministry
  • Demonstrated ability to provide pastoral care and spiritual guidance
  • Strong “Jesus first” leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Empathetic, compassionate, and approachable demeanor
  • A genuine desire to serve and make a positive impact on the lives of others
  • Proficient in or able to quickly adapt to new technologies including but not limited to: church app, team leaders management software, social media platforms, email and file sharing, and office communication platforms

KIDS MINISTRIES COORDINATOR

Position: Kids Ministries Coordinator
Level: Staff Leadership Team
Employment: Part Time


New Life One Church is seeking a passionate and organized Kids Ministries Coordinator to help children (Nursery through 5th Grade) root and grow in their faith. This part-time role focuses on coordinating weekly Kids Ministry programming, equipping volunteers, and creating a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment for families.

Job Description:
  • Implementing strategies that help children grow spiritually in age-appropriate ways.
  • Selecting, preparing, and coordinating curriculum and activities for weekly services and special events.
  • Recruiting, scheduling, training, and equipping volunteers to serve effectively.
  • Ensuring Kids Ministry spaces are safe, welcoming, and prepared for each ministry gathering.
  • Communicating with parents and partnering with families in the discipleship of their children.
  • Maintaining safety guidelines and volunteer processes.
  • Collaborating with church leadership and other ministry teams as needed.

Requirements: 
  • Strong faith and commitment to the vision and values of New Life One Church.
  • Experience working with children and youth in a ministry or educational setting.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to recruit, lead, and motivate a team of volunteers.
  • Excellent communication and relational skills.
  • Passion for discipling and mentoring students in their faith.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to plan and execute events and programs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other church ministries and leadership.
